Live Your Best Life Educator’s Edition PTA Day

PTA Day is a two half-day intensive where I coach you 1:1 though the process of creating your first online course. This hands-on, get-it-done experience is for educators who are ready to learn and apply how to take their skills and expertise in teaching beyond the campus and create their very own profitable online course – fast.

You’ve been the go-to leader in your classroom and on your campus. It’s time to be the leader of your own life by starting your own online business.

Live Your Best Life PTA Day is right for you if…

  • You believe time is money. Time is your greatest asset, and you’re real particular about how you spend it. You’d rather pay more to get things done faster, than save a few bucks and have to find the time to go through an 8-week program self-paced program. Your know the faster you can get your online course system set up, the faster you can start making money with it.

  • You are a get-it-done kind of person. When you have an idea, you are ready to take action. Or maybe you’ve been sitting on this online course idea for months, maybe even years, and you’re tired of deferring your dreams.

  • You like clear, direct instruction and quick, direct feedback. You know that the fastest way forward is to learn from someone who’s done it, and to have that person give you direct feedback as you do it yourself. You like to move fast, and you like it when you can work with people who can not only keep up with you, but who can also push you.

Here’s what you’ll learn and do inside Live Your Best Life PTA Day

Find Your Topic.

There’s something you know right now that you can create into a profitable online course. In Module 1: Perfectly Positioned Teach, I’ll help you figure out what you are perfectly position to teach in your course based on your experience and interests.

Find Your People.

Then in Module 2: Stellar Students, we’ll create a profile of your “stellar students,” the ones who are going to so psyched about your course and the problem it solves for them that they’ll line up to enroll.

Outline Your Course.

This is the meat of the day and where your teacher skills come in handy! In Module 3: Backwards Planning, I’ll walk you through the steps to map out your learning objectives and outline your unit plan so you have a clear path to creating bite-sized content that will help your students feel successful as they go through your course. I’m also going to show you my trick for turning this outline into content for your workshop/webinar, emails and social media posts (if you’re into that sort of thing).

COSTCO it.

Would you teach in an empty classroom? Of course not! In Module 4: The COSTCO Method, we’ll set up your “sample booth” (i.e. your quick and dirty but clean website where you can get people to register for your workshop) and your sales page for when they are ready to register.

Share it.

It’s not enough to create your course and put it out there. You want continually drive traffic to your COSTCO booth, and you can do that via paid marketing (Facebook/Instagram ads) or free word of mouth. I’ll show you 4 ways to stay top of mind for people.

Make it.

(Post Class Homework)

Now that you have students enrolling and/or getting on the waitlist for your course, it’s time to create your mini-lessons. Module 5: Lesson Planning & Delivery will guide you step-by-step through the process of recording your content, whether you’re doing video courses, voicing over slides or delivering your course live (which I recommend). I’ll also walk you through setting up your course on two different platforms (a free option and a paid option), so you can choose which one is right for you.

Me back in 2000 during my second year of teaching.

 Hi, I’m Aisha

Six years ago I started my own educational consulting business. At the time, all I had was a deep desire to do more with my gifts and to hopefully make enough money to take my family on an extra vacation or two.

I didn’t have money to hire a coach, and I didn’t know online courses were even a thing. So I felt my way around, often stumbling in the dark trying to find my way. Once my business was up and running, I wondered why I’d waited so long. I knew enough to start my consulting business, that grew to include online courses, long before I got started.

I want to help you use your gifts to create a fulfilling business that gives you the freedom and financial stability to live your best life.

Live Your Best Life Educator’s Edition PTA Day isn’t just about creating and launching a course of your own. It’s about proving that just because you’re in education doesn’t mean you’re destined to live a life where you’re scraping by financially.

The way to have time for what you want is to make it.

We all have a lot on our plates. Full time jobs. Children. Partners. All the things. But one thing I know for sure is what gets scheduled, gets done. The best way to make your online course a reality instead of a “one day” vision, is to schedule a time to work with someone who will help hold you accountable–so you can make it happen.

Your success is around the corner.

Here’s what my clients have to say about working with me…

Terra Smith, Client

I have 16 years of experience in education and 13 years of it is in leadership roles in both schools or in a central office of a school district. I was in a point in my career where I was searching for a major pivot but I needed assistance. I knew I had the knowledge, experience, education, credentials and the references to be successful, yet I did not know how to get started.

This is where I turned to Aisha.

Aisha walked me through the fundamentals I needed to get the business off the ground. She made herself available for follow-up calls or emails for any questions I may have had along the way as I built this business.

I have since become an approved vendor as a consultant in two Houston-area school districts. I would not have been able to do it without the guidance and support from Aisha.

Larnell Vickers, LarnellVickers.com

“I was in the beginning stages of starting my business and wanted support around resources that I could use to help jump start my ability to get clients. Aisha was quick to show up and provide immense support by sharing all of her tools and tricks in how she built and grew her business.

Working with Aisha, I was able to get out of my head and start to take action without trying to get it "right" or be "perfect". Seeing how Aisha built her business, it provided me with the confidence to go and start serving others now rather than later on.

Aisha is a "get it done" type consultant/coach. When I was in the beginning stages of my business, I thought I had to take several steps before I could start serving my clients. That was just not true. Aisha demonstrated in her leadership a great example in not overthinking but taking action and learning along the way.”

Dr. LaTasha Russell, Drive By Therapy

My problem was that I did not know what I wanted to do next in my life because I feel like I am living the dream right now, which is why I did not have much of an urgency to reach out to her. However, I am learning the if I continue to stretch myself, I will actually or eventually have the most flexibility in my schedule which will allow me to thrive in ways that I could never imagine.

My favorite part about her service was how laid back and engaging she is or was. As a psychologist, I am not used to "an hour" being about me. In fact, I cannot remember the last time that I allowed myself to fully let my "hair down" and struggle through what I was trying to say. She made me feel so comfortable with not having the answers. How cool is that to just throw someone your ideas/pieces and they create the puzzle or map for you to follow?

Oscar Romano, School Leader

I wanted to talk to Aisha about the best approach I should take when pitching an idea to school and system leaders. I needed somebody with the experience she had whom I could trust to give me helpful feedback.

Aisha was intentional with the balance between asking questions and allowing the conversation to diverge onto different pathways. There were moments I needed her to listen and moments I needed her questions. She seemed prepared to do both when I needed her to.

I would recommend this service to anybody who wants an unbiased opinion on how to move forward with their life, an idea, or a decision. There's something to be said about taking the time to process your next move with somebody skilled enough to guide you through that journey.

FAQs

Will you provide support after the PTA Day?

I absolutely will via our online PTA community on Facebook. Here you’ll be able to ask questions and collaborate with your fellow PTA members. This community will be open to you for four weeks after your PTA Day, after which you may choose to stay in the community for a nominal membership fee.

Is there a payment plan for the course?

Because this is a hands-on, get-it-done experience, there isn’t a payment plan for this opportunity.

What is the refund policy?

Once you pay for PTA Day, you will not be eligible for a refund. If something happens between the day you sign up and the actual day of the training, and you cannot attend, we can reschedule your PTA Day.

Will the day be recorded?

Yes, the PTA Day will be recorded. Because the information shared in the day is the intellectual property of the participating PTA Members, you will be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to participating stating that you will not share any of the content from the PTA Day with anyone outside of the group.

How much money should I expect to spend on tools/marketing to get my course launched?

This is a great question! You can expect to pay $30 for the program we’ll use to get started. If you plan on using paid ads, I would allocate $35/week on ads at the onset of your course journey.
